VALOR August Veteran of the Month
For August, we are proud to recognize Jakedric Wright as VEPO Solutions’ VALOR Veteran of the Month.
Jakedric served in the U.S. Army from 2013 through 2017 as a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic. He currently supports VEPO’s Immokalee, Florida project as a Meter Technician and has been part of the VEPO team for approximately six months.
His military background helped build the accountability, mechanical awareness, adaptability, and commitment to completing the mission that he now brings to the field each day.
Consistent Effort and Professionalism
Jakedric was nominated by his supervisor because he consistently arrives ready to give 100 percent effort. He remains respectful and professional in his interactions with customers, teammates, and management, while taking ownership of every task without complaint.
These qualities are essential to success as a Water Meter Technician and reflect the dependability, discipline, and service mindset Veterans bring to VEPO’s workforce.
After approximately six months with VEPO, Jakedric describes the VALOR Program as “amazing.” He values the opportunity to travel, see new places, and help utilities by being part of the solution to the challenges they face.
Beyond the Job Site
Outside of work, Jakedric enjoys spending time with his wife and children, playing video games, and making music.
We are grateful to have Jakedric on the team and proud to recognize the effort, ownership, professionalism, and positive attitude he continues to demonstrate.
