Continuing Our Partnership with Fort Riley

On July 23, 2026, VEPO Solutions and the VALOR Program returned to Fort Riley for the Chart Your Next Course Career Event, hosted through the installation’s Transition Assistance Program.

This marked Jon’s second trip to Fort Riley representing VEPO VALOR and provided another valuable opportunity to connect directly with transitioning service members, discuss their civilian career goals, and share information about VEPO’s field opportunities and the continued support available through VALOR.

Returning to the installation also allowed us to continue strengthening our relationship with the Fort Riley TAP team. Partnerships like this are an important part of our outreach because they create opportunities for honest conversations with service members before they leave the military and begin their next chapter.

Building Relationships Beyond One Event

Every conversation helps us better understand what transitioning service members are looking for, including their preferred locations, availability, career interests, and concerns about entering the civilian workforce.

These events are not only about discussing current openings. They allow us to build relationships that may continue well beyond the event, including through the VALOR Talent Network and future VEPO opportunities that better align with each individual’s timeline and goals.

The opportunity to return to Fort Riley reinforced the value of consistent engagement and showing up for the military communities we hope to serve.
