Supporting Veterans Through Peer Connection
On June 16, 2026, VEPO Solutions and the VALOR Program participated in the CareerSource Broward Veteran Job Fair.
The event provided an opportunity to share current VEPO employment opportunities, introduce attendees to the purpose of the VALOR Program, and connect directly with Veterans exploring their next career move.
What made this event especially meaningful was the participation of two current VALOR technicians who represented VEPO alongside the recruiting team. Their involvement gave attendees the opportunity to hear directly from employees who understand the work, the transition into civilian employment, and the support available through VALOR.
One of the technicians originally connected with VEPO through a similar Veteran hiring event. Returning in a representative role allowed him to share his own experience and help others better understand the path from initial conversation to employment with VEPO.
Veterans Supporting Veterans
Peer connection can make a meaningful difference during the transition into a new career.
By having current Veteran employees participate in outreach events, prospective candidates can ask practical questions, hear honest perspectives, and see how military experience can translate into field operations and career growth at VEPO.
These conversations also reflect an important part of the VALOR mission: creating a community where Veterans are not only recruited, but supported and encouraged to help others navigate their own next steps.
We are proud of the VALOR team members who represented VEPO and grateful for every opportunity to connect with those who served.
Thank you to CareerSource Broward for hosting the event and continuing to create opportunities for Veterans and employers to build meaningful connections.
